1. Data controller

The data controllers are Elisabetta Flumeri and Gabriella Giacometti. For any request regarding your personal data you can write to [email protected].

2. What data we collect

  • Contact form data: name, email address, reason for contact and the content of the message you voluntarily send us.
  • Newsletter subscription: if you subscribe, the email address you provide is stored in our list managed through Mailchimp.
  • Usage data (statistics): if you give consent, we collect aggregate site-usage data via Google Analytics (e.g. pages viewed, referral source, device type).

We do not collect special categories of data and we do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making.

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Replying to your requests sent via the contact form — legal basis: handling your request (art. 6.1.b and 6.1.f GDPR).
  • Sending the newsletter — legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
  • Usage statistics — legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which can be withdrawn at any time from the cookie banner.

4. How long we keep the data

Messages sent through the form are kept for as long as necessary to handle the request and any legal retention period, then deleted. Statistical data is processed according to Google Analytics retention settings.

5. Recipients and providers

  • Hetzner Online GmbH (server hosting, data center in Germany — EU).
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (CDN, security and delivery).
  • Intuit Mailchimp (newsletter subscription management and delivery, only if you subscribe).
  • Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics, only with consent).

Some providers may transfer data outside the European Union under appropriate safeguards (e.g. the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses).

6. Your rights

At any time you may exercise the rights under articles 15–22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. You may also withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights write to [email protected].

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
